- 1998 - Frank Meltke started contraco as a search consulting company.

- 2002 - Yahoo! Search Marketing (formerly Overture Corp.) dedicated contraco to set up their European business.
- 2003 - contraco started projects for Telecom Italia, Dowty Automotive, La Stampa etc.
- 2004 - Launch of contraco USA in Boston
- 2004 - Deutsche Telekom asks contraco to set-up the Europe´s largest intranet search engine
- 2004 - Launch of contraco Asia in Seoul
- 2005 - Commences Korean projects with MSN Korea and Geotel Mobile Solutions
- 2006 - Contraco Europe and contraco Service are launched due to rapid expansion of our global customer base
