1. Business Development Director

The Business Development Director will contribute to the development and growth of an Americas business development program for Contraco Professional Services. He/She will be responsible for penetrating existing and establishing new client relationships within the industry sector targeted—selling to the very top operational executives at targeted companies. Working alongside service delivery executives, the successful candidate will help to create and execute effective account development programs for key clients. He/She will be responsible for specific client development, as well as act as a "mentor" for consultants who identify business development opportunities. The successful candidate will be a thought leader as it relates to business development strategy and execution and have the "gravitas" to gain credibility with senior partners in the firm. This person will be measured by his/her ability to establish credibility with Contraco consultants, establish and execute business development strategies in the targeted industry sector, expand client relationships worldwide, and contribute to the development and execution of a business development methodology and infrastructure across the firm. Most importantly, the successful candidate will be measured based on his/her ability to generate net new revenue

Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability to grow broad and deep relationships with large complex client organizations.

  • Demonstrated ability to be strategically aligned at very senior levels of an organization with a reputation as a business partner.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and retain long-standing clients.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell largely intangible service offerings (vs. packaged offerings)

Candidate attributes:

The successful candidate will engender trust and loyalty in relationships with clients and colleagues. An individual with strong leadership, communications and coaching skills. He/She will have a mature self-confidence and gravitas with proven relationship management skills. Someone who has a methodology and repeatable approach to open new accounts and expand existing ones. The candidate will have a reputation for his/her relationship management skills, quality delivery and ethical standards

Previous Experience:

The candidate will have over fifteen years of experience in professional services with a proven track record of generating significant revenues in client organizations. Someone who is a "relationship" executive with established contacts at the most senior level in a client organization. An individual who has developed relationships, sold large complex consulting assignments and managed the engagements. An individual with a reputation for quality delivery with the highest ethical standards. The successful candidate will also have the ability to contribute to the development and execution of a business development methodology to ensure Contraco has consistent success across all industries targeted. Someone who is known for developing and mentoring junior partners and consultants

Compensation: Based on experience.

Location / Travel: Anywhere in U.S.; requires 50% travel.

2. Business Development Associate

Business Development Associates work closely with the Business Development Director in the establishment and management of client relationships. They strategically research and network to set meetings with decision-makers and influencers at potential clients, with the objective of winning new business.

Experience Sought:

  • Marketing and sales experience (preferably in a consulting/services environment) pushing the front-end sales via the telephone
  • Direct sales and Tele-consulting experience
  • Proven ability to establish a network or relationships and set-up meetings with decision-makers and influencers at Global 1000 corporations
  • Proven track record of reaching and or exceeding benchmark set in business development
  • Experience in creating and analyzing financial reports and statistics
  • Ability to provide inputs to develop sales and marketing plans along industry/sector and or/functional lines
  • Database management experience
  • Ability to support high-impact “first” meetings with prospective clients with customized research identifying prospect’s issues and opportunities

General Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree, any major. MBA preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to all levels of an organization
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build trust
  • Excellent organizational and database-management skills
  • Excellent research skills, including Internet
  • Demonstrated initiative and determination to persist
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Self motivated individual

Compensation: Based on experience.

Location / Travel: Based in Nashua, NH; requires 5% travel.
